1. Forthcoming sessions
This week, we will carry on the baiting in Gleeson and AN blocks during our 2 volunteer sessions, starting at 8:30am at the ranger station. Please note that these sessions are not suitable for first time volunteers.
Next induction session for first time volunteers will be held on Saturday, the 14th of March.
Let me know if you are coming to either of these sessions. Also please note that if you make a last minute decision (after 5pm) or have an unexpected change of plans it's best that you leave a message on our phone 09 810 7014 rather than email me.
2. Upcoming Forest & Bird Third Thursday talk: Ark in the Park 2013 - 2020 and beyond
Don't forget the F&B Waitākere branch talk, this Thursday 20th of February, featuring a presentation of the Ark by Gillian Wadams. A lot of the information she will present has been gathered by volunteers in the field, so come along to hear about how data you personally may have collected feeds into the picture of the Ark as a whole.
